This one day satellite symposium will explore the ramifications of structural studies beyond crystalline regime in studying chemistry of materials. Under the umbrella of chemistry of materials several classes of materials will be explored starting from oxometalate based materials, porous materials, semi-conducting nanomaterials to catalytic materials and those employed for sustainable energy generation. The meeting will also provide a platform for exploring the overarching structural principles that underlines the formation of the afore-mentioned diverse classes of materials which may provide further avenue for construction of hybrid materials.
